Next up in the Feature Presentation Tournament is the winner for the Movie Studio Region! It was a tough battle but somehow the 20th Century Fox Intro Full-HD 1080p bumper came out on top! It’s classic. It’s iconic. It beat the Evil Corp that is Disney. It’s going on to the Final Four of the tournament. Check out the results here. Stay tuned as the next round it coming up.

This week’s region takes us back to the movie studios. After theaters tout their stuff, you usually get movie studios doing the same thing. There’s a grand history of movie studio fanfare and we feel like we captured all the right candidates. The bad boys of the studios, Disney, are back but they have some stiff competition. Here we go, it’s the first team to reach the final four of the feature presentation tournament! Who is it you ask? Why the one that Quentin Tarantino himself popularized! Yes, Our Feature Presentation is moving on. Why you ask? Because it’s still being played in theaters like the Alamo Drafthouse. We have a winner in the HBO Play In and it’s a major upset! The HBO – Classic 1987 Feature Presentation Intro made it out alive in the bracket. The old early 80’s feature presentation was a clear favorite and an almost certain shoe in to advance. It seems the votes came strong for the rocking guitar instead of the orchestration provided in the favorite. Now personally, I would’ve gone with the old 80’s version since it started the whole tournament. The people have spoken (and may have gamed the votes). That’s democracy for ya, so 1987 moves forward!

We have run through the Play Ins and now we are at the Regionals for the Feature Presentation Tournament. It’s been a fun ride so far and we are now kicking it up a notch. This week we go back to the Wild Card region and lay out some fresh contestants as well as the Play In Region champ. Just like last time, we’ll open voting for a week. Let’s play ball!

Alrighty, the results are in on the AMC Play In so let’s get right to it. The people have spoken and we get to see the AMC Theatres Feature Presentation Trailer (2003) move on to the next round. I guess people really like their Coca-Cola. Check out the results richeer. We have the regions starting up tomorrow, but we also have one more result left. We may clue ya’ll in on that this weekend. Growing up Gonzo in the Kansas City Area led us to see plenty of movies at AMC Theaters. I remember being there as a kid and growing along with the bumpers for the Feature Presentation Tournament.
